The Kensington Historical Society will host a garden tour on Sunday, June 5, from 1 to 4 pm. Seven gardens will be featured within walking distance of Flinn Park, which is located across from the Kensington Post Office at 10325 Kensington Parkway. The gardens featured spotlight different landscaping challenges for homeowners.
Tour participants can obtain a site map and related information on Sunday, June 5, from members of The Kensington Historical Society from 1 pm onward at Flinn Park. Tour participants can visit the gardens at their own pace. Light refreshments will be served at Flinn Park.
Tickets purchased by June 1 are $10/adult (no charge for children). Checks should be made out to The Kensington Historical Society and mailed to P.O. Box 453, Kensington, MD 20895. Tickets purchased on the day of the event at Flinn Park are $15/adult.
