10426 Fawcett Street

The single-story brick building at 10426 Fawcett Street was built between 1911 and 1916. For many years it housed the town’s telephone service. It is an example of ‘Greek Revival’ style, characterized by simplicity, restraint, and balanced proportions. It is basically a box, with large, carefully arranged openings and few details – notably the shallow arches and stately corbelled cornice.
