3924 Baltimore Street
3924 Baltimore Street, called “Sunnycrest,” was built in 1901 by T.M. Medford for the Frank Chapman family. Its square proportions, simplicity, and symmetrical façade are characteristic of the Georgian Revival style. It has a hipped roof with large dormers and a single brick chimney servicing four fireplaces. It had an auto house, a windmill, a well, and a water tower, which served the owners and their neighbors for many years. Sunnycrest also served as a temporary home for volunteers aiding the war effort during the First World War. In the 1920s, stucco siding was applied.
