3930 Washington Street, with its gambrel roof and broad proportions, exemplifies the Dutch Colonial Revival Style, popular from about 1890 to 1918. The double sloped roof gives the house its distinctive form. The upper floors are covered with uniformly patterned shingle siding, while varied window shapes and sizes enrich the entire surface.
