Frederick Avenue Park. Kensington-Frederick Park

Up the hill to your right, past the tall apartment building there is another park tucked in the woods. Frederick Avenue Park was acquired in 1954 by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. While situated in the Town limits, it is still owned and maintained by the MNCPPC. It features a playground and picnic area and encompasses 1.9 acres.
