St. Paul Park

Across the street is St. Paul Park. This large grassy field is encircled by a paved walkway and benches. The park has a softball field for kids that is also used for soccer games and other field events. It has 2 side-by-side basketball courts, children’s play equipment, and benches and picnic tables shaded by large trees. The circular walk is a great place for little ones to try out their new wheels, parents to push strollers, and joggers to do their laps. A water fountain quenches the thirst on hot days, and sometimes a bowl is handy to be filled with water for dogs. The park is also used as a staging area for horses and marchers getting ready to march in Kensington’s Annual Labor Day Parade and for children (and parents) getting ready for the 4th of July Bicycle Parade.
